Sayaka Chinoike
Rank: Taiyokage
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Appearance: Sayaka is a very mature looking woman at 5’5” and 130 lbs. She has long pink hair that goes all the way down to her back, but is tied into a bun with a strand of hair sticking out of her bun. The bun is tied with a black and red spiked pin that holds it together. Her body type is shapely with a large bosom and volumed hips that don’t lie. She has a smooth light complexion with bright blue eyes to compliment her other features. She wears long blue detached sleeves with a blue dress that exposes her cleavage, midriff, and thighs, along with many simplistic and beautiful patterns. Her wardrobe seemingly enters into a traditional style as she often wears traditional outfits in various colors. There are some outfits that are also revealing while helping her maintain some class and there are others that she would be skinned for if she weren't kage.
Village: Sakyugakure
Clan: Chinoike
Bloodline: Ketsuryugan
Clan/Bloodline Traits: Anatomist, Ketsuryugan Genjutsu, Ironblooded
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
Personality: Sayaka is a friendly individual who is also a social butterfly, being able to easily make friends and know how to keep a conversation going. She would always greet with a soft smile of reassurance and make people feel welcomed. Sayaka believes that as her duty of being Taiyokage, she wants her people to feel more comfortable around her. Sayaka isn’t one to try and intimidate to prove a point, especially when it comes to her own people. She could always do it if it’s only necessary for those who continuously look down on her skills and role as a kage. She is extremely laid back, acting as if nothing can bother her. Despite her position as Taiyokage, she sees herself no different than own people as far as being a mere kunoichi, who just so happens to be at a higher position in authority and strength more powerful than the majority within the village.
She has no shame in showing her more playful side. She can come off as a childish who can have her immature moments by whining, but it doesn’t happen as often as some may believe. She likes to tease others for the fun of it, let it be in battle or outside of it. Sometimes she even likes to pull off little pranks or fool people for a few seconds just to see how they react. She can be boastful and loud and has no problem admitting such traits. She may be seen denying them, but only ironically.
Where Sayaka can be childish, she can be very clever with both humor and and wit. Though, her sense of humor can be dry and sometimes can be considered offensive to some that ties into her immature persona. She has a sharp tongue, so she knows how to poke holes through people but also knows when to hold it. She can be blunt when needed, but sometimes holds back on what she says in consideration for other people’s feelings. Sayaka is both hard and soft with people, but it would depend on who she’s with does she have to be rough or sympathetic with.
Notwithstanding the childish behavior Sayaka would occasionally display, she can be surprisingly mature and more motherly than most would expect out of her. Sayaka knows that as the Taiyokage, she must live up to the expectations of being a kage by showcasing exceptional leadership and confidence. She is a sympathetic woman who would have no problem lending a shoulder to cry on and an ear to hear out people’s problems. In her position, she wants to show that her people can trust her apart from her immature ways. She is a fair woman who would always come up with ways to resolve conflict of any time. Naturally on Sayaka’s part, it would depend on the problem itself would she have to drop to drastic measures. She would speak primly and use honorifics when addressing someone but occasionally she likes to drop to formality and go informal instead.
On the battlefield Sayaka is strategic, studying her opponent’s movements so she can plan her her own moves. Her boastful nature may seem as such, but she would never try to attack head on or recklessly slash and punch about. The woman can occasionally be a perfectionist in the frontline, wanting her plans to succeed no matter way while she doesn’t necessarily have a problem if they don’t otherwise. As much as Sayaka holds pride into her kunoichi prowess, she knows when to back down from a fight if the conditions are out of her control. Nevertheless, she would still try to do as much as she can to get a win and not to forget being a tease in a battle as well.
Beneath the Taiyokage’s lighthearted and cheerful personality is a woman who craves for the blood of her enemies or of those who dare try to question her power. In spite of the fact that she can hide this side of her well, she is extremely sadistic and enjoys inflicting pain of any kind from a simple light slap to the face or a stab through the chest. This side can be unleashed if she chooses to. She can get abnormally excited when people doubt her abilities or anything she beholds as not only a kage, but as a kunoichi overall to the point where she can get violent and/or obsessive with a wicked smile spread across her face and threaten the person to make a move.
Sayaka holds no issue to personally put someone down and in their place when absolutely needed… or if she just feels like the person really deserves her wrath. Tied with her blunt personality, she would know how to verbally stab someone right through the heart. It’s easy to piss her off, but she manages to control her temper. This trait, nevertheless, can also apply outside of battle.
Where she inflicts pain that gives her amusement, she can also likely get obsessive when it comes to receiving it. It isn’t as obvious as being sadistic unless she chooses to make it such. All she would do is laugh if she’s in immense pain as if she enjoys it. This side encourages her sadistic behavior and drive for bloodshed while flourishing the amount of pain that she receives. When losing, that is when her obsessive trait starts to kick in and is more than just willing to play dirty and do what she can to get her win.
With her parents deceased, Sayaka is left on her own to raise and take care of her younger sister, Azusa. She is extremely soft and affectionate towards her sister. She does view Azusa as an adult essentially as she has enough trust for her to make her own decisions and smart ones too. She enjoys provoking her sister and pissing her off notwithstanding the simple reality that not only she is older but is also the Taiyokage. She can’t help but feel guilt when it comes to her sister for the sole fact that she has no idea that Sayaka was behind her own parents’ murder.
With a troubled past, Sayaka would do whatever she can to make her village strive further.
History:
“Even a well lit place, can hide salvation.”
Born in a village with the most prosperous economy, there was no questioning the fact that Sayaka was born in great power in not only wealth but in addition to being born into the Chinoike Clan. She was raised alone as a single child at first by two successful businessmen and women who didn’t hold much interest into being shinobi but alternatively had a vision of making names for themselves. Many people of the village may have heard of the names Shinzo and Utzuki Chinoike, who were not only Sayaka’s parents but they were also very known for running multiple successful businesses, thus making them one of the wealthiest families of Sakyugakure. With wealth on her side and born into a clan that could manipulate blood, no one would expect any misfortune upon Sayaka…
...Until the rumors of her parents being involved in illegal activities to bring more money into their business. Rumors told that Sayaka’s parents were participating in illegal smuggling of various resources for their business and would send out assassins to those that try to expose them. They were under investigation of such wild and extreme claims, but they were found innocent. Their announcement of innocents were brushed off by the greater number of the public as they assumed the parents paid off the investigators to deem the rumors false. The general public demanded that the two were either jailed, banished from the village, and some even requested death among not only them but to Sayaka as well.
It was hapless to say that Sayaka, and as expected, was also affected by the rumors. She would get suspicious glares from students from her academy class and whispers within the room about her parents. Sayaka didn’t let it get to her with her head held up high and keeping a positive outlook on her future. Nevertheless that she tried her best to block out the negativity spread about her parents, but there were multiple times where she wanted to shut everyone up. From the teachings of her parents that she must kill them with kindness and taught to speak with class, the only thing she could do was sit there and ignore them no matter how much she wanted to punch them in the throat.
One day when classes were over, Sayaka was surrounded by at least four students who continued to harassed her. She was called named, pushed around, and someone even tried to land a punch on her. Sayaka did her best to avoid fighting so she wouldn’t get in trouble, but things wouldn’t go so well for her if she didn’t fight back. Her class circled around her and cheered on waiting for a brawl to happen. That was her cue to take on the four kids and show them a thing or two about respect. Sayaka was able to easily take down the four students with little to no ease. There was a little blood splatter, but it wasn’t anything too drastic.
Her teacher entered in the scene and caught Sayaka with four fallen students groaning in pain. Most of her class blamed Sayaka for what happened which resulted into her parents being called in with the parents of the students that were beaten by her . Her parents were extremely disappointed with Sayaka’s behavior and threatened her to be taken out of the academy with the other parents insisting them to do so. She begged and pleaded with her parents to not do so and promised that it would never happen again. Gratefully her parents decided to let her stay, but Sayaka made sure to avoid any sort of contact with any student outside of the academy. Every single day she would train to grow stronger and faster all by herself with no help whatsoever. She wanted her class to remember her for who she was and what she did. Not by her parents’ scandalous rumors or immense wealth, but by her skills and prowess as a kunoichi. She was finally able to graduate the academy at thirteen on the same year that her sister, Azusa, was born, topping first in her class.
”A map to a one man maze that never sees the sun.”
Sayaka’s days as a genin felt like a breeze for her. She grew attached to her primary specialization, ninjutsu, as she wanted to prove her name as not only a Chinoike but as Sayaka Chinoike. With her bloodline, she was able to show exceptional use of her primary elements, water and iron, through countless missions. Her mentor and teammates were very impressed with her utilization of water, iron and ninjutsu. This didn’t mean she could take a break as she would continue to train everyday from day to night whenever she had time. To her, her skills weren’t up to par with how she wanted them to be. She wanted to get better, grow stronger, and become one of the best genin this village has ever witnessed.
Her time as a genin was peaceful outside of missions until she was suddenly surrounded by the same four students who surrounded and harassed her back in her academy years. This time they were armed with kunai, but Sayaka was more than ready to give them their second beating. To her dismay, Sayaka was caught off guard and was attacked. She was nearly beaten to death as she had stab wounds all over her body, a bloody nose, black eye, and blood spewing out of her mouth. Once the four genin were done with her, they left her on the ground. This was it for it, she thought. No one was around to witness was happened or even help her. The only thing that ran in her mind was what did she ever do to deserve this.
The young girl woke up in a hospital as she was gasping out of shock. Right next to her bed on her left side was a medical-nin and to the right were her parents. Her parents were in tears and rage as they witnessed their daughter being hospitalized and demanding to know who did this to her while the medical-nin explained what happened with her injuries. He said she was lucky enough she even survived and suggested that she should take months rest off. Sayaka strongly refused against the suggestion. Her wounds may have put her in critical condition, but she wasn’t ready to rest just yet. Not when she was diving into a world of rage and utter revenge on the four genin that almost killed her.
She made it her mission to kill the genin that almost killed her. Sayaka would track them down to find out where they lived and use her chance to end them in the night. She would sneak through each and every one of their houses during the night with a kunai in one hand, dressed in all black, and a mask to hide her identity. She would stealthily break into their houses and begin her journey there. She started with the genin first as she would cover their mouths and proceed to stab them all over their torso until they couldn’t move anymore. Sayaka had also considered killing the parents, but she thought the pain would be much better for them to realized that their own children were killed in the comforts in their own home. When the parents discovered their dead children, the only thing they could do was mourn in pain as they try to find who killed their children, all while Sayaka hid in the shadows with a sinister grin on her face.
It was the start of her sadistic and vicious ways as the Chunin Exams arrived. She recalled beating and burning her opponent to a pulp and was at the verge of death, hadn’t someone stepped in and stopped her. Fire was everywhere, her opponent’s skin was burnt to a crisp, and all Sayaka could do was laugh… and laugh… and laugh… as her opponent screamed and cried in pain and agony.
Until she snapped out of it and realized what she done.
”Where the lost are the heroes and the thieves are left to drown.”
The parents of the deceased four genin that were brutally murdered years back came back to haunt Sayaka after she passed her Chunin Exam and was promoted to a chunin at fifteen. They pointed the fingers at her for being responsible of their deaths and demanded that she should be banished her publicly executed. Keeping her composure, Sayaka insisted and swore that she had nothing to do with it. The parents countered her argument by stating that she was the one that beat them up in their academy years. That was when her parents stepped in and decided to shut the whole case down by secretly paying off those that were interrogating their daughter. It did take more than money to help get the case off of Sayaka, but she was deemed innocent at the end.
Asides from being accused of murder, which she actually did but who would even dare try to accuse a sweetheart like Sayaka, her skills had become outstanding as a chunin. During her time as one, she also picked up on hobbies to occupy herself whenever she took a break from her nonstop training. She picked on painting and drawing, singing, and began to read more.
Other than the accusations that kept being pinned on the young woman, her life as a chuunin was at peace.
”Everyone knows by now fairy tales are not bound.”
Sayaka’s abilities were so phenomenal in water, her kekkei genkai blood, ninjutsu and outstanding in taijutsu she was given the rank of jounin instead of special jounin at eighteen. This was where she was nicknamed “Mother of Flames” and “Goddess of Hell” due to her amazing use of fire ninjutsu. she picked up a third specialty and element to train: steel and taijutsu. Steel was a very beneficial element that can help give her weaponry skills an advantage in battle while taijutsu was seen as a substitute in case she didn’t want to use weaponry or couldn’t use it for whatever reason. All while she was able to lead her own squad, she did whatever she could to help them unlock their potential and power.
It was all well when Sayaka was a Jounin until she was ambushed by a group of men near the country borders when she was returning from her mission. She wasn’t beaten to death, but she was given a harsh beating from being outnumbered. The men that attacked her claimed they were affiliated with her parents and that they owed them money for all the illegal resources they smuggled in, confirming that the rumors were indeed true. They warned her that her parents had twenty-four hours to pay them back, or she had twenty-four hours to not only kill her parents and bring back their heads as proof of her killing, or else they’ll kill her whole family for her.
Sayaka was lost for words. She refused to kill the people that brought her into the world and would murder anyone who tried to even lay a finger on her sister. It was then between her parents’ life or her sister’s life that she had to choose to end. Sayaka wanted to kill the men herself, but she knew that they had enough power to kill her off when grouped together and she didn’t see herself trying to single them out since they were grouped together often. She was utterly damned, but at the end she chose to kill her parents. She agreed to do as such and promised she would bring their heads by midnight near the country borders.
It was the middle of the night while everyone was asleep. That was the time when Sayaka snuck into her parents’ room who were sleeping in speak. She had a sword in her hand that was ready to stab and slash. She began to stab her parents as much as she could to the point where they couldn’t move anymore. Once they were dead, she proceeded to behead them and stuff their heads in a large bag and snuck out of the village and headed towards the country borders. There, the men waited for Sayaka and the heads. The woman arrived with the hand over her shoulder as she took it off and threw it over to the men. The men looked in the bag to confirm that her parents’ heads were in there. Satisfied, the men swore to leave Sayaka and her sister alone and bid her farewell.
Ever since Sayaka’s parents’ murder, Azusa wondered where their parents ran off. The woman could only look at her younger sister with teary eyes and claimed that they travelled to another village for business and would be gone for a few days. Those days transitioned to week and to years, every single day Azusa asking Sayaka when would her parents get back. Sayaka couldn’t do it. She couldn’t bring herself to say that their parents were killed, more or less Sayaka being the one that was killed. Soon, she made up an excuse with their parents abandoning the village for a better village and never coming back. It didn’t sit well with Asuza, but she learned to accept Sayaka’s “truth”.
After the death of her parents or rather “their abandonment of the village”, Sayaka inherited all of her parents’ wealth and businesses.
”They're written in the walls...”
At twenty-four, Sayaka was chosen to become the next Taiyokage while she was in the process of learning genjutsu and medical ninjutsu. Medical ninjutsu would be especially useful for offensive purposes such as poisons and defensive purposes such as healing and possible surgery and practiced her genjutsu as it was an ideal and suitable specialty gifted from her clan.
Her Taiyokage days weren’t exactly as peaceful as she hoped. Next to the months of doing paperwork and hosting events, Sayaka was almost assassinated in the comforts of her own office by one of the genin’s parents that she called years ago. She was able to easily overcome and defeat the so called “assassins” with minimum effort with a civilian. She had plans of doing a public execution, but instead decided to throw the two in jail for life to make them suffer.
Rumors of her killing the genin a decade ago had emerged on surface once again, causing whispers among the village. Even though she tries to dismiss it, the rumors would always come back including the ones where her parents were involved in an illegal trade. They were a minority luckily, but Sayaka had a feeling the people that believed in the rumors would grow.
No matter how much the rumors resume to emerge or even try to tear down her reputation, Sayaka would do whatever she can to keep her position as Taiyokage until she retires and keep her village in one piece.

Cheerful humming could be heard as she walked down the depth of the village’s prison with a lantern in her hand to illuminate the dark and depressing halls. Prison cells were left to right, prisoners were in terrible conditions, and yells and cries of agony and rage filled the air, all while Sayaka had a sweet smile on her face. She had free time for the afternoon, so she thought why not spend the time she had now to visit one of her favorite prisoners? Now, her favorites weren’t grouped with the rest of the prisoners within the halls she travelled down in. No, these were unique and wanted them to get the special treatment. Away from everyone else… but treated more horribly than the majority. Some would view it as cruel while the Taiyokage saw it as fair game.
The woman entered into a flight of stair that she began to travel down to, taking her time while she still continued to hum in glee. It took her two minutes to travel down the stairs before she arrived into a cramped basement and ceased the humming. The basement had nothing but just a tiny cell that could only fit one person, but in there were two. Both prisoners looked somewhat elderly, one was a man and the other a woman, and both were in very raggedy clothing. They were asleep, positioned next to each other as they’ve embraced themselves while in slumber. Sayaka sighed in admiration as she still kept her smile curled on her lips. They looked so adorable together, clinging onto each other no matter what.... Innocence… and have faith in each other.
So cute.
Sayaka walked up to the celled bars as she heavily banged on them with the palm of her hands, the echo of the bars being slammed travelling around the basement. The couple woke up with scattering movements, rolling around in panic for a few seconds from being suddenly awoken from their nap. All Sayaka could do was laugh at the alarmed elderly couple continuing to wiggle around in terror. ”Oh, my most deepest apologies! I didn't mean to awaken you two from your slumber…. Except I have. Your peace ruined mine, so here I am to ruin yours.” She purred as her smile grew wicked.
When the two stopped moving, they turned their attention to what was on the other side of the bars. The couple had sneered expressions at the woman, not one of them having a word to say to the Taiyokage yet. They were angry, yet nothing was being said. Not even a sigh of frustration could be uttered out of the two. ”What’s wrong? Have we forgotten how to speak? You two have each other, so being ruled out from society from trying to kill me shouldn’t be all that bad now!” She chirped. ”Or perhaps… I should have had you killed. At least then you would no longer have to mourn for your son-”
”Damn it, shut up woman! Have you no shame for what you’ve done!?” The elderly man yelled while a raspy voice, coughing right after his shout to clear his throat whilst the elderly woman wrapped an arm around his shoulder and pulled him close for an embrace and comfort.
Sayaka made a satisfied chuckle as she closed her eyes, shaking her head at the elderly man. ”And so the old wolf have barked once again… it looks like it still has some life to it. Marvelous.” She whispered to herself as she slowly squatted down to reach eye level of the elderly couple. ”No. I don’t have shame. Shame is what have gotten me all the way here. Shame is external, which is why I’ve been so good at hiding it.” She explained in a low voice with a wink.
”W-What do you want from us? Haven’t you terrorized us enough already?” The elderly woman pleaded with a weak yet soft voice.
Sayaka’s smile shrunk a little but it was still in place and very visible. It seemed as if her smile went from wickedness to something more sympathetic, but what she was feeling was far from it. ”Perhaps not. It is not my job to terrorize you. That would be the guards.” She answered with another wink. ”Have you forgotten you’ve tried to kill the Taiyokage? That is a very punishable act. I would’ve had you two publicly executed, for people to know and remember who were the ones that attempted to take my life away, and to make sure people remember how rotten and FILTHY you are for trying to commit such an act. Even I would’ve killed you myself if I wanted to, but I didn’t. ...Wanna know why?” Sayaka’s voice has then gotten suddenly lower and menacing, her smile wiped out of her face to a threatening frown.
”Because I’m the good guy and you two are the bad guys. I’m NICE. I would’ve LOVED to have the pleasure to disembowel you too myself, but because I’m NICE, I decided to spare your lives. Why? That’s a question that even I can’t answer! Maybe… maybe I just love it when I see people suffer under my domain… because I just love it when people I absolutely despise die on my grounds. Who knows? Maybe I just went insane at this point.” Sayaka soothingly purred as her wicked smile returned to her lips.
The elderly couple stayed silent for a moment, shocked at Sayaka’s sudden change in behavior and tone while the other woman could only stare in delight. Finally, the elderly man cleared his throat once more and spoke. ”You… you won’t get away with this! Mark my words, karma is real and karma will kill you! Y-you’ll see! Justice will not fail us yet!” His voice boomed with confidence as he meekly rose a fist and waved it at Sayaka.
”Oh but my dear sir… I have gotten away with it and I will continue to do so until I will confess my sins on the day I die so that I may allowed to go into the heavens and forever live in immortal happiness and prosperity!” Sayaka explained with sickening joy dripping in her voice. ”And I’ll tell you what, karma is real…. Oh yes! She is most definitely real… how did you think she worked her magic when you two tried to kill me?” She asked while her head tilted to the left a little bit.
As if on cue, two guards with large blades attached to their belts have entered into the room and between the Taiyokage. The room went silent again as Sayaka straightened her knees to stand up. ”Alright guards, get rid of them. I need to reserve this basement for a better prisoner… or prisoners.” She commanded as she took a step back. The guards moved to the cell door and opened it while the elderly couple could only back themselves against the wall as the guards drew out their swords at the couple.
The elderly woman screamed in terror while the elderly man panicked with his breathing sped up. ”N-no! Stop! You can’t kill us! You don’t do this!” He screamed.
”I can’t do it, but the guards can, and they can do this because I said so.” Sayaka said in a cheery tone and her smile widening. As the guards aimed their blades at the elderly couple, Sayaka would turn around and say her parting words before she would leave the basement.
”Just remember that while karma is a bitch, she’s my bitch.”
