Function: This technique allows the user to put their opponent within a Genjutsu by using their finger as a medium. This induces the Genjutsu.This Genjutsu has various appearances, but its primary purpose is exhausting and paralyzing an opponent through extreme psychological stress in the form of personalized illusions. It begins by casting a special Genjutsu that exists for the sole purpose of concealing the user's actual attack, meaning Ephemeral is best used as a method of distracting an enemy while the user's real attack is prepared while their victim is trapped within an illusion. The exact way in which this occurs is decided by the caster, but the overall content of the illusion is drawn from the victim's own mind and sub-conscious, and thus the Genjutsu User is not privy to what precisely is transpiring within the mind of the enemy. The way the enemy perceives their surroundings is based upon the user's own choosing. Pain can be simulated through the Genjutsu but is not physical. The user must see the user's index finger in order to cast.
The victim under Ephemeral may feel as though he or she is unable to move for a long period of time, but in actuality the elapsed time is rather short. If the victim has less Chakra than the Genjutsu, then Ephemeral has a chance to cause the 'Paralyzed' effect on the target if Ephemeral is not broken. Must use a 'Ram' hand sign.
After 5 posts with Ephemeral being uninterrupted, the user can put their target to Sleep, knocking them out for the remainder of the thread.
Simply calling this just a 'Genjutsu' is not viable for this technique, as Ephemeral is a technique only obtained by those who have specialized in Genjutsu to a high degree. Only one effect (Either sleep or paralyzed) can be used per duration and do not stack.
