Bloodline Name: Byakugan
Bloodline Functions: The Byakugan is the Hyuuga's prized doujutsu. It is highly distinctive - large, stark white irises, and no visible pupils. Occasionally slightly offwhite tones such as a very pale lavender or cornsilk yellow will appear, but even these appear similarly white at a distance. It is able to be activated upon birth for the cost of 1 chakra per post. Passively, it allows the user to see through solid objects (including chakra constructs), see chakra, and grants 359 degree vision. As an extension of the first two abilities, the user can also see other people's tenketsu when the doujutsu is active. Passively, the Byakugan's range extends up to 500 meters.
If it is transplanted, it can be turned on and off as normal, but it costs double chakra to maintain. If you only have one, you possess 180 degree vision in that eye.
Bloodline Traits:
-Farsight: Hyuuga with this trait can extend their range of vision at will to 1,500 meters. However, doing so increases the Byakugan's cost by 1 chakra, and forfeits the user's 359 degree vision until deactivated. This effectively reduces it to the levels they have when the doujutsu is inactive. Farsight has a cooldown of two posts in the event of deactivation.
-Magnify: Hyuuga with this trait can magnify their vision, able to see anything down to its cellular level up to 50 meters away if Farsight is active or 25 meters away if it isn't. Magnify has a cooldown of two posts in the event of deactivation.
-Truesight: This trait allows Hyuuga to process external stimuli at unnatural speeds. While the Byakugan is active, Hyuuga with this trait gain +50 speed.
