Function: By using this technique, the user can cause up to 5 meters of Earth to burst upwards, defending them from incoming attacks, with them able to do this in up to two directions and additionally able to do it from a few centimeters to up to 3 meters away. This is effective against amaterasu due to the fact that it throws it off course by altering the terrain that some techniques travel across. Though higher level techniques may be similar, and more durable or allow things to be altered in more directions, or may be faster, Earth Shore Return is a basic technique that one can use to build upon. This cannot manipulate the Earth of Jutsu that aren’t the user’s own.

Duration: Instantaneous. The shield disintegrates into a fine dust after 2 posts.
