Function: By harnessing a fine chakra control, Earth Flow Divide - a centuries old technique with its development rooted in Ninshu - can quickly become one of the more versatile Doton techniques in an arsenal. After performing the required handseals, the user can begin flowing a high concentration of chakra from one’s palms into the Dragon Veins that flow underground, allowing them to tear the Earth apart and, if wished, create large chasms. By flowing concentrated chakra from one's palms into the Dragon Veins (龍脈, Ryūmyaku) flowing underground, to manipulate them with fine chakra control and, if one can do so, they can shape and fashion the length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm that they intend to make. If used properly, one can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team, destroy enemy camps or defenses, or even to attack by engulfing the target in a chasm. This, and other techniques with similar requirements, are also the foundation of using other techniques that make use of Dragon Veins. The chasm is 35 meters in width, length, and depth.
