Function: After forming the handseals, the user creates an identical copy of themselves that retains all of their knowledge and techniques. Upon receiving any damage, the clone will not dissipate, but will begin to repair itself to the user's durability. All memories made by the clone will also be given to the user when it dissipastes. This clone must be made within three meters, but can travel up to two kilometers away from the user. Should they go farther, they will dissipate.
Small wounds in one post (lacerations, severed fingers) and medium wounds in two posts (broken limbs, impalement). One can spend 10 points of chakra to repair heavy wounds if there is earthen material that could replace the mud in the clone’s body.
Once this technique is cast, the chakra cost is deducted from the user and the user's chakra evenly divided in half among the clone and original copy. If this number doesn't divide evenly, any left over chakra can allocated to the clone or the original as per the caster's wishes. Shadow clones cannot cast X-ranked techniques, and any techniques cast have their cooldowns shared by both the clone and the original. This clone cannot make more clones.
Equipment such as armor, weapons, and items can be duplicated by this jutsu, but they will not retain any abilities and will be counted as having half stats. These items dissipate with the clone.
This technique is compatible with all Shadow Clone-derived techniques.
