Clan History: The Dhulo Cela is a two and a half century year old order of monks from the island in Canyon Country. They tend to be very small in population and only rarely allow outsiders to become initiates into their order. They are famed masters of Dust Release, which is frequently used in meditation. Supposedly, their kekkei tota symbolizes their worldview- total detachment from all earthly pleasures.
They tend to favor taijutsu, unlike their sister clan, the Halkai Cela. Rather than being ruled by a clan head, a council of five elders presides over most of their decisions. These elders maintain their position until death, so it is rare that new elders are elected. In their home, they are seen as uptight, solitary, and secretive- which isn't far off from the truth.
The Dhulo Cela follow their traditions to the letter. Though very rare, it is possible to be excommunicated from the clan. Each excommunication is decided on a case by case basis by a majority vote in the council of elders. When excommunicated, it becomes impossible to learn new Dust Release techniques from the monastery library unless you develop them yourself.
