Appearance: Niamh (pronounced Niav) is a short young girl with lavender hair and mismatched eyes, one being green and one being pink. She tends to be exceedingly pale with delicate features. She tends to burn in the sun easily, so she tends to wear lots of draping fabrics in signature Macuil purples and blues. She is about 5'3" and weighs 121 pounds. Her voice is a soft mezzo soprano, and her expression is usually carefully kept neutral. Like most Macuil, her ears taper to a fine point. Above all, her appearance doesn't exactly lend the viewer to believe she is a particularly strong ninja.

Personality: Niamh's personality is what one would expect of her appearance. Exceedingly shy, low self confidence, and frequently apologetic for no apparent reason. In spite of this, she is willing to stand up for people other than herself. She tends to live mostly in a rich inner world, often using mediums such as writing or drawing to escape from reality. When interacting with others, she tends to close in on herself and mumble, but when talking with people she's comfortable with or about a subject she's well versed in, she will perk up and become much more confident. Generally, she is extremely introverted, possessing only a few friends and acquaintances outside of her immediate family.

Morally, she hasn't lost her ability to think in right and wrong yet, but is able to justify hurting other people to protect both herself and her loved ones. She isn't quite sure what to think of Shimagakure as a whole yet, but nonetheless will serve it to the best of her ability as she learns more about herself and the world. Her favorite color is a gentle orange, and her favorite food is red bean paste. She tends to dislike large crowds, as well as herself.

History: Niamh was born fifteen years ago to Beircheart Macuil and Shingetsu Hozuki, the latter being from a Hozuki branch clan and therefore not possessing the kekkei genkai. From a young age, she was acutely aware of her own fate- like many of her clansmen, it was very likely and possible that she would sell her soul to a Yokai in order to further serve the village. This has resulted in her becoming a little snappish, highly reserved, and timid, as well as unsure about the village system as a whole. At age nine, she enrolled in Shimagakure's ninja academy, and at age thirteen, she graduated. She has been a genin of the village for about two years, serving in the genin corps due to the current available senseis not taking a particular interest in her.

Currently, she is training her clan's space time ninjutsu as well as taking an interest in earth ninjutsu. Her goal is to find an appropriate sensei to teach her more about chakra and other essential aspects of being a shinobi- after all, a lone genin in the corps has never really been expected to progress very far at all. Hopefully, now, things will be different.
